Newman Tribute Night

Many people know our patron Saint John Henry Newman as someone who was an academic and a university professor. What you may not know is that he was very much involved in the arts in general. Come to our Newman Tribute Night at the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk Street, Guelph, on Friday, January 17th at 7:00pm to hear pieces of music based on works of Newman, including an opera, as well as readings of his essays, poems, meditations, and his novels. There will be Newman trivia beforehand and a social to follow. Join us as we honour our patron and celebrate his canonization.
Fr. Mark Morley, Chaplain
