You are invited to an evening of conversation about why and how St. Thomas Aquinas drew on the writings of the Islamic scholar, Ibn Sina, and the Jewish sage, Maimonides, as he attempted to understand what we mean when we profess that God is the “Creator of heaven and earth.” St. Thomas Aquinas offers us a model for how people of faith, and Christians in particular, can engage in a common quest to know God. Come and join the conversation! Friday, January 29th, 7:00 – 9:00 pm, St. Louis Church Hall (Side Door), 53 Allen Street East, Waterloo, Speaker: Deacon Charles Fernandes, Refreshments to Follow.
